In Teil 2 und 3 dreht sich alles um das jährliche Softballspiel der Vorschulklassen. Schulleiter Enzo heizt den Konkurrenzdruck unter den Damen Dori und Uma noch zusätzlich an, indem er der Trainerin des Siegerteams eine Woche in Paris verspricht. Im darauffolgenden Gezänk geht leider unter, daß es sich nur um eine Packung Badesalz handelt. Also beginnt Dori, ihre Mannschaft eisenhart zu trainieren, wobei ihre Bemühungen immer wieder von Shin sabotiert werden, der gnadenlos jede Anweisung falsch versteht, beziehungsweise zu einer Zote umformuliert. Damit treibt er seinen Intimfeind Cosmo in den Wahnsinn, der natürlich ein Spitzenspieler ist. Am entscheidenden Spieltag schickt Uma ihren Topspieler, den beängstigenden Tarzanverschnitt Cheetah, aufs Feld. Wo er hinschlägt, wächst kein Gras mehr, doch dem treufdoofen Shin gelingt es, unbeabsichtigt, diverse Punkte für seine Mannschaft zu erzielen, so daß am Ende nur noch ein Punkt zum Sieg fehlt. Zum allgemeinen Erstaunen schafft es Shin, Cheetahs gefürchteten Blitzball zu fangen, doch statt Doris Tiger zum Sieg zu führen, spielt er damit "Fangen", was eine wilde Verfolgungsjagd immer rund ums Spielfeld auslöst.
