Our family of nine goes shopping every Sunday at Trader Joes, a uniue grocery store. The kids love this store because Trader Joe's loves kids. Chuck E. Cheese is nextdoor to Trader Joe's, but TJ's throws a party everytime we shop! The children all get little carts, they get Monkey Treats when they play "Find the Monkey". The love to help shop and look at all the fun murals on the walls. Then they get free stickers and colorful balloons. We do almost all our shopping here, the food is great, prices on organics are great, and they have Dunkers. All the people who work in the store are always happy to see us, except for the one lonely grump, but we try not to get in that check-out line. Grumps add character I guess... We all love Trader Joes 671! Not long ago we were shopping and someone asked me "Is this a Birhday Party?" I smiled and said "No, this is a family." But that gives me an idea... Maybe the next Birthday Party will be at TJ's! Cake, Ballons, Games... Free Samples, Music, Nice People, we wouldn't even need decorations! Song By: Out of the Grey "So We Never Got TO Paris"

Every Christmas morning the Winterley Methodist band come round Haslington. I apologise for the odd angles at times but I was hanging out of the bedroom window filming as they came down our road. You can hear one of the woman at our front door wishing us merry christmas as she collects donations. The first christmas I had in haslington I wondered what the hell was going on at some silly hour now ive got used to it. although me and glen would have preferred another hour in bed. Glen normally howls to the band playing but as hes getting older hes being a right grump and would rather have stayed asleep than be woken in a panic that the band were coming. it was something different to film and shows how some people are willing to give up their christmas for others. hope everyone had a happy christmas.
