Ihab Salim-Independent journalist-Sandviken-Sweden-report-7/11/ 2008: Sandviken is a city in Gastrikland in Gavleborg province in Sweden,the name means (Sand Bay),the city found in 1862,the people started living in the city since that the date,they worked in construction and rock drilling,it was the first city in the world able to use Bessemer process within the focus on quality in the production of iron and steel. Sandviken company founded under founded in 1862 by goran fredrik goransson,Son Anders Henrik Goransson was president 1868-1910,the production was focused on international quality early,and the processing and research and development and exports.training drill rocks yielded to reach the Stock Exchange in Stockholm 1901. The company began to develop producing stainless steel in 1921,and Carbide in 1942,start of production of steel in the manufacture of hardware in 1950,in 1960 entered a substantial investment in the company. In 1972 the company changed its name to the name (Sandvik AB),over time the company has evolved to produce manufactures metal and metal tools, ceramics and rock drilling machines and saws, steel, metal and ceramic tubes with high specifications corrosion-resistant and alloys,even represent the company's arrived recently to 130 countries in the world,United Arab Emirates is one of the countries,the company achieved excellent profits because of the quality of production quality. Sandviken has always evolve,Residential buildings built now on side of the park,in addition to development of the streets,the city contains the Public Library, which contains thousands of books,including the Arab and Islamic books,the city containing a church and a mosque,in addition to the hospital,schools and shops and a lot of Super Market. The city contains a large number of the Arab community,especially from Iraq,Syria,Palestine, Lebanon,in addition to the African community and Thai and Iranian and Chechen and Russian. Sandviken municipality which includes 22,574 people in the area of 1546 hectares of the city ranked first in respect for the rights of refugees in the city,the municipal bear burden of medical treatment costs,electricity,insurance,particularly that more refugees are arriving from Iraq and Palestine working operations,members of the municipal council involved in defending for rights of the Refugees in Geneva Conferences,it is a city of humanity which rock drilling. Iraqi government handed over hundreds of commercial contracts to Iran which refused to receive the Iraqi refugees while Sandviken has hosted hundreds of refugees Iraqis but did not receive commercial contracts with Iraq!!Perhaps,Iraqi government wants to help the Iranian Revolutionary Guard terrorist.
