Comment / Rate / Subscribe ;) Hazel spent an hour on me. She had done it so quickley and I looked like a moviestar ready to go on the red-carpet. I had a deep purple gown on and Hazel had a baby blue shorter one on. I admired myself in the full length mirror I had in my closet along-side Hazel. I was excited to see Nick's reaction. I had never had a guy say "wow, you're beautiful" to me before. I could only hope that tonight that would change. I looked down at my small diamond watch that was my mom's and started to freak out. "Holy CRAP!" I exclaimed. I didn't realize how late it was getting. Hazel looked at me weird. "What?" "You've got to go! It's almost 5 and Nick's always early!" Hazel went wide-eyed. She was as excited about the surprise aspect as I was. Nick wasn't supposed to see her before the party or he would suspect something. We were just supposed to go out together. I shooed her out the door towards the car that Joe and Kevin had arranged. She left and sure enough, one minute later the doorbell rang. I jumped up from my spot on the couch and practically ran to the door. I opened the door and there he stood. My own angel. That's what he looked liked. He was perfect. More so than usual. I had the biggest smile on my face, I was beaming. And I was trying not to think about tomorrow. He looked shocked when he saw me, his eyes widened and then I hugged him. "Hey. Ready to go?" He still looked shocked, but looked me up and down. I felt a bit self-concious. "Uh, yeah... but what's the huge deal?" I was crushed... he didn't like it. I guess the disappointment showed on my face because he quickley changed his tone and carressed me cheek. "No, Nicole I didn't mean it like that. I love it, I do. Your gorgeous. I was just curious." He kissed me to the cheek. He had said I was gorgeous. Me. Why did this all of the sudden seem so much like a dream? I grinned again and took his hand, leading him to the car. "Well, I'm not telling you, so let your cursiosity rage." He rolled his eyes and got into the limo that I had asked him to bring. The car ride was awkward, but every few minutes Nick woudl squeeze my hand and kissed it lightly. I didn't mind the awkwardness if I had that. Actually, I LOVED the awkwardness if he kept on doing that. We were only a few blocks away when I started to hear screaming. "Oh crap. I didn't even think of that." My mouth was in an O of horror. What about the fans who had showed up? There would be so many celebrities here tonight that it would be crazy. Nick leaned over to look out the window but I pushed him back, jokingly. He couldn't see out. "No, Not yet, Mr.Jonas." "And why not?" "Because it's a surprise, now go along with it!" He laughed at me, but I continued to think. We pulled around the corner and I realized that I should've given Joe and Kevin more credit. There were security guards/body guards everywhere! It was like a security convention. No one was getting in there uninvited tonight. I turned to Nick quickley and he was still clueless. "We're here!" I said enthusiastically. "Yes, I see that..." He paused. "Where's here?" I giggled and grabbed his hand, being careful to let go as we stepped out of the Limo. Camera's went off right away and the didn't stop until we reached the doors. When we got in, after Nick answered a few questions and got a couple of pictures with me (we were still only friends in the press's eyes.) He leaned over to whisper to me, as we saw a few people that Nick knew in the front Lobby. He waved and said hello but moved on quickley. "What is this...?" I laughed at the fact that he was still completely clueless. I walked through a door and there were hundreds of eyes on us. There were cheers and people yelling out happy birthday from everywhere. "This,"I paused for dramactic effect, gesturing to everyone. "is called a party." Ohhh! fun:) We still don't know what Nicole's present is...

---READ DESCRIPTION--- My camera died halfway through the lesson so this is all I got: some pics and some cantering video. I tried to make it exciting. xD Figures that the one clip I have of me cantering doesn't have any of the bucking in it... he bucked a lot this lesson but not quite as much as in my last lesson, and once he got to jumping he settled down quite a bit. Earlier in the lesson, just after I got on and was adjusting my stirrups all of a sudden Dakota sank to his knees. At first I didn't realize what was happening and then all of a sudden I was thinking "crap he's gonna roll" so I "jumped" off (it was more like stepping off lol). I got out of the way just in time before he started rolling, tack on and everything! Luckily he didn't squish me. This was my second time riding Dakota. Please don't say anything about my sloppy equitation! I realize my hands are planted on his neck and my legs are too far forward and swinging. If you've been following my videos you know that I'm used to riding Ricky who's a lot smaller than Dakota. I'm still getting used to riding a bigger horse. It feels completely different.
