Fast-forward sufficiently and get to a hidden track: "Gutterslut" live from 1985, the Eastern Front compilation track. These men are of course free (well, relatively) to do whatever it is that makes them happy while they are incarcerated. But people have to think that there are plenty more gay men in prison whose situations and stories were not represented here, where the emphasis was on sexual gratification, not love. I'm not sure what happened to the couple pictured above (who spoke candidly about their intimate emotional relationship in the preview clip we posted), but they were nowhere to be seen. Considering that the other segments dealt with straight inmates marrying women, conjugal and family visits, and incarcerated siblings, to not feature a single "gay" couple with an actual emotional relationship in an episode called "Prison Love" seems like a missed opportunity. (Note: There was a segment that focused on a long-term lesbian prison couple, but the implication was made early on that women are different from men and that this is to be somehow expected.) But there was one subject discussed in documentary that we did find fascinating
