Power Wheels Electric Rotating Turret

Here is Ava going for a ride in the seat and drive mechanism for the electric rotating turret that will be a part of the argo tank once it's complete. The design is simple, there is a wheel driver attached to the piece of wood (instead of a tire). The 5 gallon bucket is attached to a lazy susan bearing, which is attached to the wood. The wheel driver sticks through a hole in the bottom of the bucket, and a peg perego 6V gear motor fits down onto it. The gearmotor is attached to the bucket, so when power is applied to the gearmotor, the bucket turns. It's currently connected to 4 AA batteris wired in parallel, 1.5V seems to give the right speed, and obviously it will turn with a child in it. Now, if it will still turn once I've added the turret body and eventually the water cannon... well we'll see. I may have to add a little more voltage :) http://www.modifiedpowerwheels.com/
