Joe had finished his push-ups and was chugging down a Red Bull. Kevin was fixing his shirt in the mirror and stole a Butterfinger from a Wal-Mart bag when nobody was looking. I walked out of the room and started pacing up and down the hallway. "If this is a dream, nobody pinch me!" I said quietly. I could hear the boys in the dressing room warming up their voices and I couldn't help but smile when I heard Nick's voice. Before I knew it, the door creaked open and Joe told me I could come back inside. I looked at the clock. It was about 7 minutes before the show would start. I could hear the crowd going wild as Kevin said, "Come with us." I followed them up the stairs with Big Rob in front and we gathered in a circle with a bunch of people, including their parents, Frankie and band members. Kevin introduced me to everyone and then we all joined hands. When Nick reached for my hand, I felt something similar to a bolt of electricity shoot through my arm. Mr. Jonas led the group in prayer and then we all placed our hands in the middle and I joined in as they all chanted, "Living the dream!" Joe started jumping up and down, Kevin started talking to John Taylor and Garbo and Nick pulled me aside quickly. "We have to go..it was really nice meeting you, Alexa. I guess you'd better get back to your seat. We're on in a few minutes." "Yeah.." I said, staring into his chocolate brown eyes. He got a certain look on his face and said, "I really want to see you again..and so do Joe and Kevin. Do you think I could maybe..." He paused, as if searching for the right words. "Maybe what?" I asked. "Have your number?" he said slowly. "You know..so we can keep in touch..if you want." He looked kinda nervous. A smile spread across my face. "Sure," I said. He quickly grabbed a piece of paper and a pen off a nearby table and I told him my number. He scribbled it down and put the piece of paper in his pocket. "Nick, let's go!" called Kevin, guitar in hand. Joe was standing next to him, dancing like a wild child. "Bye Alexa!" "Bye!" I said, waving. "See you later," said Nick, turning to go. "Good luck," I said. "I'm cheering for you." He turned around and smiled and then turned back around and started heading for where his brothers were. And they were gone...just like that. I walked to my seat and met up with my mom. The lights turned out and the crowd of screaming girls raised it up a notch. As soon as they came on stage, I cheered and started laughing, not being able to convince myself I was just talking to those boys. At the end of the concert, Nick sat at the piano and spoke into the microphone. "We're very happy to be here with you guys tonight..and we'd like to thank you for everything you've done for us..and this next song.." He paused and looked out into the audience, locking eyes with me. "Is for you.." The place erupted in screams and I felt my eyes glisten with tears. He started playing the piano and they started to sing When You Look Me in the Eyes, a song that had been very close to my heart since I first heard it's beautiful sound. Tears slowly made their way down my face and when they took their bows after S.O.S, the audience roared with applause. I was so proud of them and it was definitely a night to remember. And here I am..almost a year later..in my room doing my geometry homework. It seems like only yesterday when I first shook their hands. I sighed and looked at the calender one last time. "Just ten more days until I see Nick again.." End of Part 3! This has been the intro to my new series. I will probably be posting a new episode of Please Be Mine tomorrow, unless I'm busy or too tired. I hope you are enjoying my new series! I am really proud of it and maybe I'll publish it someday..if people don't think I'm nuts! Haha thank you guys for all of your support and I know that wherever Nick is right now..he knows his dream girl is out there somewhere..little does he know she might be right here..typing these exact words..I can't describe my feelings for him..some feelings you can't explain..this is one of those feelings and it will remain in my heart until the end of eternity. :]

From the Cafferty File: So much for that filibuster-proof majority for the Democrats in the Senate. Republican incumbent Saxby Chambliss won yesterdays run-off in Georgia. The best the Democrats can do now is 59 seats. The Minnesota race is still undecided. It was a much needed win for beleaguered Republicans coming off the beating they took on Election Day. But perhaps the bigger story is Sarah Palin. The hockey mom-turned-Alaska governor-turned vice presidential candidate-turned national joke flew down to Georgia on Monday and campaigned for Chambliss to huge crowds at several events. Chambliss said Palin had a huge impact on his win, She came in on the last day, did a fly-around and, man, she was dynamite. Palins former runningmate John McCain also campaigned for Chambliss, as did former Republican presidential contenders Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Rudy Giuliani. But it was Palin who may have given Chambliss the push he needed to win. Heres my question to you: What does Saxby Chamblisss win in Georgia mean for Sarah Palin who went there to campaign for him?

ABOUT Freddie McGregor: Freddie McGregor (born 27 June 1956, Clarendon, Jamaica) has been variously a singer, musician and producer. According to Allmusic he is one of reggae's most durable and soulful singers, with an incredibly steady career that started all the way back in the 1960s, when he was just seven years old. In 1963 he joined with Ernest Wilson and Peter Austin to form The Clarendonians, and began to record for the Studio One label. McGregor worked with producer Niney The Observer during the late 1970s and early 1980s. In 1975, McGregor converted to Rastafari, which had a profound impact on his music.[1] He is a member of the Twelve Tribes organization. His popularity soared in the early 1980s with the release of "Bobby Babylon". Other popular hits of McGregor's include "Big Ship", "Push Comes To Shove", "Just Don't Want To Be Lonely" and "I Was Born A Winner"; as well as cover versions of many early reggae standards. He has also worked with producers Junjo Lawes, Linval Thompson, and Gussie Clarke. McGregor has also toured extensively for many years. In 1984, he inaugurated his own Big Ship label, secured a licensing agreement with RAS Records in U.S. and released Come On Over in 1987. After slowing his pace in the late 1990s, McGregor returned in 2000 with the acclaimed Signature, which restored his typical balance of roots reggae and lovers rock with touches of dancehall. He followed it two years later with a similarly well-received album, the Grammy nominated, Anything for You.
