THE deputy leader of al-Qaeda has issued the terror group's first public attack on US President-elect Barack Obama. In a chilling broadcast, Ayman Al-Zawahiri al-Qaeda's spiritual mastermind warned Obama to abandon plans to fight on against the Taliban. He told him: "The dogs of Afghanistan have found the flesh of your soldiers to be delicious, so send thousands after thousands of them." The hate-filled address by Egyptian fanatic Al-Zawahiri, who dreamt up the 9/11 attacks, was released by al-Qaeda's official media website, As-Sahab. In it he warned the US leader: "It appears that you dont know anything about the Muslim Ummah (community) and its history, and the fate of the traitors who co-operated with the invaders against it, and dont know anything about the history of Afghanistan and its free and defiant Muslim people." "And if you still want to be stubborn about Americas failure in Afghanistan, then remember the fate of Bush and Pervez Musharraf, and the fate of the Soviets and British before them. "You also must appreciate, as you take over the presidency of America during its crusade against Islam and Muslims, that you are neither facing individuals nor organizations, but are facing a Jihadi (holy warrior) awakening and renaissance which is shaking the pillars of the entire Islamic world. "This is the fact which you and your government and country refuse to recognize and pretend not to see." Al-Zawahari, 57, slammed Obama for failing to follow the Muslim faith like his father. Advertisement He added: "You represent the direct opposite of honorable black Americans like Malik al Shabazz (Malcolm X). "You were born to a Muslim father, but you chose to stand in the ranks of the enemies of the Muslims, and pray the prayer of the Jews, although you claim to be Christian, in order to climb the rungs of leadership in America. "America has put on a new face, but its heart full of hate, mind drowning in greed, and spirit which spreads evil, murder, repression and despotism continue to be the same as always." The Sun was the first news organisation to obtain Al-Zawahiri's broadcast. In it he also brands Obama and fellow black US politicians Condolezza Rice and Colin Powell "house negroes" a racist slur implying they do the "bidding" of white leaders. Terror expert Glen Jenvey told The Sun: "This is the first significant video message by an al-Qaeda leader for months and its importance cannot be underestimated. "Barack Obama has gone on record saying he will take the fight to the Taliban in Afghanistan and this is effectively Osama bin Laden's reply. "Al-Zawahiri is the brains behind al-Qaeda in terms of their philosophy and is second-in-command. "The US Government and CIA will be combing through this tape for hours now in the hope it will divulge something that can lead them to him." Al-Zawahiri's message is the first from al-Qaeda in several months. Although it features Al-Zawahiri's voice, there is no moving footage of the terror chief probably to disguise his current hiding place.

I'm playing this on an emulator and I play on 1/s speed, use save states (and cheats in rare cases) for maximum luck manipulation, but everything I do can be done in the regular version. I will not exploit glitches and use the emulator's functions to make the impossible possible. The main goal is simply to prove how fast the game can be beaten. The main reason why I'm doing this run is because the other run is taking forever to complete. My patience isn't as good as it used to be and I'm really getting sick of doing the same things over and over and over and... you get the point. With save states, this is no longer going to be a problem, so it won't take too long to complete this run. However, there are still luck reliant parts that will require hundreds or retries, but at least I can save right before them now without having to redo five semi-luck reliant parts first. It's also still summer, so I'm not planning to work on this 24/7. In other words, don't expect another segment tomorrow, but I promise you it'll never take more than a week. The goal is to complete the run by the end of the year. Now onto this segment. As I said last time, this is one of the hardest segments. First of all, you have the configurations that must be done in the menu. Usually a pain in the ass to do, but not too hard when you're doing it on half speed and you don't have to wait 2:30 for another attempt. Next we have the forced MP battle where you must get to attack before them in order to finish the battle as quickly as possible. Last time, I got three random battles in this segment. This was before BrutalAl discovered the "walking trick" that you can use to "remove" the next random battle in some cases. Walking in the second area removes the first battle that you normally get after the intersection on the bridge. Then you have to name Cloud and Barret, which can be very hard when you finally make it that far. Not this time, though. After that, the next three areas and the elevator are all easy. After the elevator, you reach the worst part of the segment. First of all, you get a random battle in this area. There must be a Grunt in this battle and he must use his regular attack on Barret to make sure he can get a limit break when Guard Scorpion uses Scorpion Tail. Since the RNG is saved as well when you use save states, you have no choice to start over if you get the wrong battle. In addition, you may have to manipulate the RNG in order to get a battle with the desired outcome. That's why I stop for 0,6 seconds in the first staircase. If you reach the battle in the exact same amount of time every time, you will also get the same outcome in the battle every time. Those 0,6 second were simply a prize I had to pay for the best outcome and there was nothing I could do about it. But then comes the worst part. In order to remove the last battle, you have to walk 44 steps. However, if you simply walk these steps, you will get a battle just before the save point. In order to reach the save point sooner, I have to use a special technique where I run 90% of a "step" and walk the rest, so that the game counts the step as walking. This is hard to pull off even with an emulator, so imagine having to do this under normal circumstances. Oh boy. After this, the rest of the segment is easy. Save time: 6:11 39 seconds better than last time, but it should be mentioned that the emulator is a little bit faster. Not as much faster as the PC version, though. I was going to record sound this time, but it turned out really bad no matter what I did, so I gave up. And finally, yes, I will finish the other run. It will be done by February 16th, 2011, as I promised, but I have no idea when I'll have the next segment ready. I give it a few attempts every week, but I lose my patience way too easily. This run, however, is something I have fun doing, and it won't drive me crazy anytime soon.
