من نگويم كه مرا از قفس آزاد كنيد قفسم برده به باغي و دلم شاد كنيد فصل گل مي گذرد همنفسان بهر خدا بنشينيد به باغي و مرا ياد كنيد ياد از اين مرغ گرفتار كنيد اي مرغان چون تماشاي گل و لاله و شمشاد كنيد هر كه دارد ز شما مرغ اسيري به قفس برده در باغ و به ياد منش آزاد كنيد آشيان من بيچاره اگر سوخت ، چه باك فكر ويران شدنِ خانة صياد كنيد شمع اگر كشته شد از باد مداريد عچب ياد پروانة هستي شده بر باد كنيد بيستون بر سر راه است ، مباد از شيرين خبري گفته و غمگين دل فرهاد كنيد جور و بيداد كند ، عمرِ جوانان كوتاه اي بزرگانِ وطن ، بهر خدا داد كنيد گر شد از جور شما خانة موري ويران خانة خويش محال است كه آباد كنيد كنج ويرانة زندان شد اگر سهم بهار شكرِ ازادي و آن گنج خدا داد كنيد Mohammad-Taqí Bahār (محمد تقی بهار in Persian) (November 6, 1884, Mashhad, Iran — April 22 , 1951, Tehran, Iran), widely known as Malek o-Sho'arā (ملک الشعراء) and Malek o-Sho'arā Bahār, is considered as Iran's greatest Twentieth Century poet and scholar, who was in addition a politician, journalist, historian and Professor of Literature. Although he was a 20th century poet, his poems were fairly traditional and strongly nationalistic in character. Bahār is considered by many scholars as the greatest Iranian poet in the past 200 years. These scholars are united in the belief that Bahār's style of writing and the beauty of his poetry, as well as his deep patriotic sentiments, place him amongst such giants of the Persian Literature as Ferdowsi, Saadi and Hafez.
