11. Lola LIVE! -How were the last few days, Ellie? They must have been hectic. I tried to stay calm. She wasnt trying to make me look stupid. Shes not referring to Nick. -Not really. This is my first official appearance since I won. -Arent you worried that youre life will change now? - I think I can cope. Besides it hasnt really sunk in yet that I won. I guess it will once I get to recording. -Are you looking forward to that? -Yes I really am. Im going to write some of the songs myself. So Im really excited to see how it will turn out. -You will have to work with strangers for a long time though. -Not entirely. I made them change my contract a bit. -What do you mean? -I get to choose my own band members. -Thats a first. Can I be in it? -No offensebut no. You cant even play an instrument. -I can learn. -You kinda sound like a truck crashing into bus stop. Besides you have a great thing going here for yourself. -Well I was getting old, I needed to get my life together. -Old? Youre only 19. -Enough about me. Is anyone going to feature on your record? -Like who? -Like our next guests. The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. -Well I dont know if theyll be on my record. I dont know Demi that well. -But you know the guys? -Yes, I met them last year when I lived in America for a while. Theyre my friends. At first I didnt know they were famous. -How did you find out? -Tabloid. I normally dont read those. But they showed it to me at school. Youve seen them perform earlier so please welcome the Jonas Brothers. Also with them is there Camp Rock co-star Demi Lovato. They came out and Joe sat down next to me. Nick sat down next to Joe followed by Demi and Kevin. -So you are here to promote your new movie. How do you like Europe so far. -Its great. Weve been to Paris and London and all kinds of beautiful European places. But were really glad we get to spend some extra days in Belgium. I think Im going to stock up on chocolate before we go back. Joe said. I laughed. -Can you tell us a little more about Camp Rock? -Well, I play a girl named Mitchie and she wants to go to this music camp but her parents cant afford it. But her mom gets a job as the camp cook so Mitchie can go. But she has to help in the kitchen. Demi said. -You have to sing in it to, dont you? -Yes I do. It was fun. I really love singing. -And what are your roles. -I play a pop star thats been acting out. So he gets send to camp. He meets Mitchie and he falls in love with her. Joe said. -So you sing in the movie as well, Kevin? I cleared my throat loudly and mouthed Joe to her. -Joe. She corrected herself. -Yes I do. Actually Im in a band. Kevin and Nick play the other band members. -Do you think this movie will help you break though in Europe? -Well we hope so. Nick said. Lola stared at him for a moment. Then she looked at me. -Hes cute. She telepathically told me. I nodded. So maybe you should sing on Ellies record. She already has fans in Belgium and some neighbouring countries. It might help. -Dont exaggerate Lola. I mumbled. -We would love to work with Ellie. Kevin said. -Well were nearing the end of the show. And its time for our viewer calls. Lola said -Are you in love with any of the Jonas Brothers? -Oh no. Theyre like brothers to me. Demi said. Everyone turned their head towards me now. What should I do? Flat out lie? I cant tell the truth either. -I love all of them. Theyre great guys and any girl would be lucky to date any of them. I kind of dodged the question. Everyone on set knew that. -Just not me. Im taken.
