This is some classic NYC material right here. I was out with my British girls and ended up at this underground House spot on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. (This was on a Tuesday Night. There are parties going on in NYC every day of the week!) So we were just hanging out and having a good time when a mini "Bedrock City" formed. "Bedrock City" is when a circle forms on the dance floor and two or more dancers "freestyle battle" to a very deep form of Dance Music known as "House Music". "House Music" first emerged in the mid 1980s in NYC and Chicago, eventually fading in Chicago but living on in places like NYC and London. (Underground House Music is huge throughout Europe and Japan.) It's been a while since I've seen a "Bedrock City"; and, as it just so happened these guys were really tearing up. My girls from England were with me and got themselves a real treat. They were absolutely blown away by what they were seeing and said they have never seen anything like it. So check it out. This is pure New York City after-hours culture right here! www.myspace.com/new_york_city_tours (my NYC profile) www.myspace.com/salzone1 (my personal profile) Note: I have a lot of other cool videos uploaded to my two profiles which you will not find on YOUTUBE; feel free to check them out! :p
