Hannie Schaft Tribute Nederland/English Kijk in hoge kwaliteit! Een korte film ter ere van communiste en verzetsheldin in de strijd tegen het fascisme in Nederland, Hannie Schaft. Hannie Schaft was een actief verzetsstrijdster in de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Als lid van de Communistische Partij Nederland (CPN) nam ze groot risico om illegale communistische krant De Waarheid te bezorgen. Ook nam ze deel aan het gewapende verzet die kantoren van de bezetter en collaborateurs aanvielen en de liquidatie van fascisten. Ze werd onder de bezetter bekend als het meisje met de Rode haren. Om haar identiteit te verhullen verfde zij haar haar zwart. Maar ze werd in 1945 gesnapt met 'de Waarheid' en gearresteerd. Al snel werd ze herkend voor wie ze was, "das Mädchen mit den roten Haaren". Drie weken voor het einde van de oorlog - op 17 april 1945 - werd Hannie naar de duinen in Bloemendaal gebracht om geëxecuteerd te worden. De eerste kogel ketste van haar hoofd af, waarop ze reageerde "ik schiet beter". Het communistisch verzet zat ook in contact met Engeland tijdens de oorlog om eenheid in het gehele verzet te brengen. Ze vulde dus ook opdrachten uit om de bezetter het lastig te maken in Nederland. Maar naar het einde van de oorlog werden de opdrachten riskanter en daarbij soms ook onnodig en informatie onjuist. Waardoor vele communisten zijn gestorven. Later zijn er bewijzen gevonden dat er een beleid was om de communistische dreiging voor het naoorlogse Nederland - uit te schakelen. Wat waarschijnlijk zo ver ging dat de Nederlandse regering in balling direct de locatie van communistische groepen doorgaf aan de fascisten. En wordt verondersteld dat Hannie Schaft ook een slachtoffer is van het anticommunistische beleid. Tot de dag van vandaag is ze een voorbeeld voor menig Nederlandse communist. Vooral jongeren communisten.
